Urgent Wheel Question

I test fitted the 17x7.5 wheels I have today, the rears fit just fine, the fronts are where I am a bit confused. The wheel sits just fine on the hub, but where I am left wondering is where the shock "housing" is, the 15" winters I have on the car are 225/55/15 size, and fit just fine without rubbing, they sit quite close to the "lip" of this housing. The 17's sit lower then where the tires on the 15's come to on this lip, and it has about 2-3 inch's of space between the lip and the rim. My question is, is this ok? will this 7.5 wheel fit and will 235/45/17 T1-R's fit without a problem? Thanks guys

the wheel offset is fine, it's ET20 which is the same as my car.

I thought they were 17x8 ET 20. Either way, they *should* fit just fine.

Sean, do you happen to know the offset of your 15's? I'm assuming ET24, but even if they are ET20 you should have zero problems. The tires you ordered are 2.4% taller, and will stick out about 10 mm further and fill out the wheel wells nicely.
