First Generation Z4 (e85) info?

Hey guys,

I was just curious about the first generation Z4s that were launched. I can't find info as easily since it's (obviously) no longer listed on bmw.ca but does anyone mind posting what they know?

I believe they came in 2 models and were launched in 2003:

2.5L:
184hp - ?? lb-ft. torque
0-100km/h in 7.5s

Was this the same motor as 325Ci??

3.0L:
225hp - ?? lb-ft. torque
0-100km/h in 6.3s

Was this the same motor as 330Ci??

Thanks!!

Yup, the 3.0L Z4 and 330 has the same motor until the 2006 or 2007 model BMW started to put the new 3.0L engine into the Z4. But the M54 Z4 is def a tad faster than the 330.

Someone on MBFanatics.org said their 2003 Z4 3.0i ran 0-100km/h in 5.9...

How is that possible when today's 2007 Z4 3.0is runs 6.0s/6.1s with a 255hp motor?

It's quicker than BMW's stated numbers...
