Alternative to Eisenmann race on the e34 m5..

Hey guys,

As much as I want an eisenmann muffler on the e34, I dont really want to spend $1000 US on a ****ing muffler! Any sudgestions for a nice, mean sounding exhaust for the m5? Thats not rice..

i just fabricated a complete header back stainless using an eisenmann muffler for an e34 m5. its a special order muffler unfortunately. apparaently they will not produce anymore of these mufflers since the newer bmw exhaust sales were proven to be very successful. this is what they were telling us via email.
we got lucky and they stopped production to make this for us. took 8 weeks to get here.
the exhaust sounds really nice deep but when you open 'er up...mmm nice...

magnaflow dual in/out 2.5", if you want the deep rumble more, choose the offset ones. A more F1 flavor, straight thru.

NickP has S50 with custom system with Magnaflow, and it sounds amazing, has that muscular rumble at low rpm, and that f1 scream at high end.

I'd do the header back with x pipe, then use 2.5" resonator for each pipe, plus the muffler. Should sound amazing.

magnaflow, no questions asked. dont spend that money on an exhaust, it's just plain stupid imo.

the one that's really popular amongst the e39 guys is the magnaflow 14815. it's a universal with two 3 inch tips an dit sounds amazing.
