Yes the software is available, however theres only 2 people in toronto that I know of who do it for under $100. Its really not worth it, thats why unlocked and unbranded versions of the k790 go for about $400+.

no way what is it called? and if there is the guy who jus bought this phone should unlock it slap an extra $150 on the sale price and sell it cause unlocked ones go for a hell of a lot more than $300

Ya man, can't remember the name of the place, but its right on the corner of Finch and 27. The only downside is that the guy had to send the phone out and it took like 3 days. But works fine.
