They usually post more details closer to the date, but judging from past years, it generally starts early morning around 8am and we finish lunch around 1:30pm at our destination, and then it's a "find your own way home" kinda deal. So usually there are a bunch of us that cruise back to Ottawa and get back around 4ish give or take.

Let me drive, I'll show you how to get 250 KM a tank.

LOL
Well...yes I 'could' get worse milage if I really tried, but I don't even think I could get that bad milage no matter how heavy the foot. @ 250km/tank I'd be getting 28L/100km

Your tank must be like 120L to get 750kms out of it

60L of gas won't get me to 500kms, and I find driving with a heavy foot or like a granny doesn't affect it too much. Maybe there's something wrong with my car.

^^ When on cruises you burn less gas, I usually get around 450+ a tank in normal everday driving, but on cruise I'll get close to 600km+. It's like my ford.. I get maybe 350-375 on a tank, but when I went to tennesse on the weekend I was getting 600km+ per tank..

It's 70L with a 10L reserve. Now that it's gotten a bit warmer, I'm getting around 11L/100km with mixed city/hwy and I'm driving it somewhat hard.

On longer highway trips I was seeing 8L/100km's or less @ 130km/h+ Gotta love the long gearing.

You should be easily able to get to 500km's with a 60L tank I would think.

I'm 100% city driving and use the remote starter to let the car idle on cold days.

Don't do long cruises. So that's probably why I don't see a lot of KMs out of my tank.
