fs: alpine 7897 indash phantom face deck
I have forsale a great, working condition alpine 7897 deck.
This unit plays mp3s, cd's, cd-r's no problem.
This unit dissapears when the car is turned off. In other words, the face goes into the deck, making it look completely black.
Great unit, comes with remote, wiring, and everything else i have.
price is 350cdn obo.
i paid a lot for this last year, but i need to get rid of it.

IMO, these are the last of the really nice Alpine decks. Everything that's out now, I don't like. For that price, it shouldn't last too long.

does this have aux in on the front? like something to plug an ipod into? Is it bluetooth ready? anything special about this deck besides the fact that it looks good when shut off?

Its not Bluetooth Ready.
to connect an ipod, u willl need a AI-NeT Aux in Cable.
Special thing about this unit is that, its one of the best SQ deck alpine made.
BTW. i need those NAV cds. Jst burn them for me, ill pick it up.
Apprently the one u uploaded, was ver1.

Well technically i can say that deck its bluetooth ready *if* u buy a module for it " KCE-300BT" u can view/call/talk to someone via headunit without removing ur eyes from the road.
