The video is not my 5 series, but it sounded the same on my 2003 530. The guys at Pipes did the cut out on the bumper and did a great job. They really took their time to make sure it was perfect.

I would let you hear mine, if you wanted a deep rumble, but gets really loud @ WOT, but there isn't any point because the company(Brullen) that did my custom exhaust went under a year or two ago, apparently I'm the only E39 540 they have done, making it the only one in the world, I got hi-flow cats, mandrel bent larger piping, small canister resonator & a muffler from them.

The exhaust is the 14815 and can be seen here.

I believe they charged $50.00 for the making the cut out. If you want a better price, I can take $50.00 off if you pick up from Yonge and Lawrence area.
Sorry, that is the only video I have...I didn't take any because it sounded exactly like the video another board member sent me.

sorry to jack the thread, but how long have you had the hi-flow cats on? any issues, since they are aftermarket ones??

I had those hi-flows for three years now, the only problem I'm having is if you don't drive it hard enough before testing emissions you will fail, other than that it's great

The muffler on the web site is 266 US, not CDN brand new. Keep in mind that it is not a direct fit as it is a universal muffler. The mandrel bent tubing will allow for a direct fit. I am selling the muffler with mandrel bent tubing for $300 with free delivery and no tax!
Waiting for your PM...when I deliver, you can check out my SMG paddleshift for you next mod
