Help Again???

Ok i had posted a thread around july... about making my 90' 525i go faster and i got a reply that said to find a shop that will swap out engines well my uncle owns a shop so i have everything i need it was suggested that i swap the stock m20 with the m50 inline 6... now is there possibly a better engine that will fit in my car... and if so or if not.. what all could i do to the engine before i put it in or what all could i do to modify it to the fullest....
(there is a Bmw e30 in Oslo,Norway that pushes 1400hp and does 7.70 in the 1/4 mile )
