^^^ it's more dangerous to the novice who doesn't know how to fully control their car.
The crash & burn part applyied to only thoes who havn't learnt how to drive yet who may be up for a quick surprise.
As for the tire ware, it's accelerated greatly since you'll now be ABLE to do perfect donuts and break stands which is much harder on the rubber, who could resist ?
I did not mean LSD = Crash.
Hence the last few words of my original post.
I call that pretty lame as are all 1 wheel break stands IMO, jaded I geuss.
If that's good enough for you then save your $$$ your already set & rdy to go. With LSD that would be harder to acheive & require more power from the engine with the added traction of both wheels pushing.
This is what I consider a good breakstand http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCI_vIifmy0
Now try to get a perfect donut with that setup (and I'm not saying you couldn't since appearently you need a tech guid and all the experience in the world to give a sugestion along with video proof lol).
Just saying with LSD even your grandmother can easily do good donuts while it would be pretty hard to do consistently with an open. Here is your video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emPpYP_pkTE
LSD or not...once you loose the car's control and your sideways...your ****ed if your a novice driver...as my bro for his personal experience.

Wow, plenty of stupid comments on this thread eh boys?
With LSD, it is true that in SOME instances it will result in you loosing your ass end more dramatically. However, keep in mind, you're less likely to loose your ass end since you're getting traction from both tires.
Most people who upgrade to 3.15/3.23/3.38's drive 328's, who have 2.93.
Otherwise, upgrading to LSD just gives you a 20% (15%?) lockup limited slip.
A skilled driver can drive a a open diff car, on almost bald tires, in a snowstorm, drunk, blindfolded.
If you're driving around on bald tires, you're a moron to begin with, and your advice is useless. LSD or not.
