pictures of scissor doors

does anyone have any close up pics of scissor doors on bmw's ? i wanna do it in the spring and so far i havent been able to find any shots of the bracketry, only the gas shock...any pic's would be GREATLY appreciated

Thats sick! Probably an expensive mod, or can you use the original doors modified?

The consept is very simple; use the same doors, just relocate/fabricate a hinge and put a shock...but finding the right location and making it work perfect is the hard part!!!

that is a good idea...but you will probably need a gas shock with a longer open capacity as well as more weight capacity...but your on the right track ...the gas shocks are very easy to come by...we use all sorts of them at my work for compartments on trucks and so forth
