my car is back on the road with an m30 engine..
..thx to charlie/ bimmersport!
i thought i would share some pics i took tonight after finishing my conversion (fully rebuilt '90 m30 engine, custom exhaust, cams, chip, etc.)
charlie, i can't thank u enough!

Hey thats cool... you notice any difference in power VS the m20? or is it all torque?? Is the weight difference very noticeable??
EDIT... woops n/m shoulda read the original post, 'cams, chip' hahaha.. thats awesome man, good job!

Of course he would, the 3rd gen m30 produces 220HP stock with nearly 220 ft/lbs torque It's a monster in the e34 535i which weighs 1000 lbs more than the e30, so just imagine what it will do in the e30.

so thats what it wass!!! nice job that engine was VERY clean when i seen it....any ideas of how much power you think your're putting down mustafa with those mods?

But the weight? I wanna know if it made a big difference, like would it upset the cars handling alot?.... cuz theres lots of extra m30s hanging around my yard, LOL

The 3rd gen m30 is about 65lbs more than the m20. You can loose that 65 lbs quite easily.
