Pioneer SPEC-2

i know its a shade off-topic, but its still audio/sound, right? the other 1/2 of our lives that arent spent in our cars - we gotta listen to something, right

just came into possession of this bad boy - it works perfectly, and weighs a freakin ton - 58 lbs!!





apparently they were made from 1975 to 1981, and this particular unit retailed for $995 back then. craazy. i know there's some home audio aficionados on here - what do you think? heres some specs for you

thought id get a response from you paul - did/do you have one of these? what sort of memories does it bring back

this sucker was meticulously maintained - the guts are perfectly clean - no dust/cobwebs/etc - and one of the power relays was replaced recently. theres 5(!) relays hangin out in there. i like electronics so this fascinates me.

well the menoreies I have so sweeeet man,brother-inlaw has one,not working any more)and for what happen to it water got in to it..how??I don't know how..and there is not much out there today in the same leauge as this today from Pioneer...
