Thumbs up Roger Enger '91 DTM racecar !

Bjorn Stromberg from Norway emailed me these pics of his newly purchased 1991 E30 M3 DTM racecar. It was originally driven by Roger Enger.
His friend has 2 engines for this car. The original 2.5L 360hp DTM engine and a 2.8 410hp 4 cyl engine. He has put in a seqeuntial gearbox as well.
Here are some pics.

Come on Randy, how do you think half of these race teams actually get sponsors?

It's not because they build pretty, nice to look at cars. Most of them are butt-ugly and nasty loud simply because they attract attention. Just look at the Botsinis boys; that car is even uglier than this one, but you certainly can see and hear when that car is coming around the corner!

It's all about sponsorship dollars....the more distinctive (even if UGLY), the more money comes their way.

It's a race car and sponsored by Castrol hence the Castrol colour scheme.

That car is smoking....I'd give it to it! *drunk*

...Anyways it reminds me of the Bruce Lee's GreenHornet-mobile b/c of the color.

Well I guess it could use a repaint job but all in all it looks amazing if you ignore the color
