soon as the warm weather hits I will be throwing them on. I have Eagle F1's 245/40/17 for them too.

well I just got back from the tire place, they are a no go. Something to do with where the Hub meets the wheel they are two different sizes, and when the wheel goes on it's close to touching the spring.

Too bad I never saw the thread, I could have told you about the hub size issue. E39 and newer 5's have 74.1mm hubs, other BMWs have 72.6mm. Just get centering rings from Tirerack.
And that wheel is 17x8 ET20. I don't think it should have any suspension contact issues.

Yeah, just get the metal centering rings from Tirerack and mount them up.
And don't ever go back to that tire shop again, they're not the brightest.

Jay, I thought E60's went back to the 72.6 mm hub bore, did they not?

Wait, you're right.
Even more reason to run away from that shop.

is there any way that either of you could take a look for me? If so I don't mind throwing you some $$ for your time if you can get them on. Just need to get some rubber on them now any suggestions for a T1-R alternative?
Thanks
