Direzza Z2

One of the classified posts got me thinking about tires. I have about 1 track day left on for the PS2s on the M5. Last year, I was trying to price out the Direzza ZII but they don't seem to be that easy to find so I was going to get Hankook Ventus RS3. After watching these videos, the Direzzas are the clear choice for me.

Can anyone suggest a shop?

thanks....

Did you consider a square setup for your car? Do you track it?

thanks for the recommendation

I was at the forum sponsor(?) wheelsco the other day to get extremecontact dry and wets and Billy was really helpful and offered a great price on my staggered setup. They didnt have the tires in stock and had to be ordered in. Tires were there the next day so I went it and got it installed on my wheels. Smooth transaction. I would say give them a shout and talk to Billy.

PS. Dont send pm they dont seem to read them but they answer all phone calls.

I'm moving from PSS to ZII for this track season. Usually go with Simply Tire but Tires23 offered a better price

How are the prices? I'm in need of summer tires after 40k on my Dunlop summers (they are awesome but wear out so fast). Looking for local and not super expensive as I need the brakes done as well =\

10K on my New Yoko's (swapped side to side once) must be horrific then. LOL

This thread is relevant to me because i need a pair of KDW's for the rear.

Windwagen, I run square set up on mine. love it. I am no nikki Lauda but I do like to have fun with my car.

My fronts are KDW's with 50% tread left. I love the look, they bite hard.
They get noisy with age though...
Not sure if I want to mix and match pairs again...

I hear that a lot.... any chance you have before/after lap times? I've read tons about square vs staggered but no definitive data. Some of the most wicked supercars and proper race cars still run a staggered setup.

I don't track lap times. I go for fun.
