It's been a while - a lot has changed.

Hi guys, its been a while since I visited this forum. Thought I'd just pop over and do a mini update.
I sold my previous 318is which I owned since 1999 and bought an M3 E36 over a year ago.
I have not done too many mods to it yet, just exhaust, HIDs, Angels and few minor tweeks here and there inc ACS wing mirrors and french fogs and black out kidney grills...

Heres the pics..

This is how it looked ( was stock when I bought her )..

Thumbnails below are clickable, most were taken by myself at BimmerFlex.

The car is simply GORGEOUS, and your a lucky sunuvabitch since you have the Euro motor in it. Thats the 321hp motor?

Sigh... i wish my car was red!

Also, where did you pick up the black kidney grills, i'm tired of my grill always chipping that i wanna get the good black kidneys!

Thanks for comments guys. Yes, its a euro S50B32 block.

@Soldo :Someone kindly donated their aftermarket full chrome kidney grills to me at a local BMW meet here in England. I basically scotch brite'd the chrome grills then cleaned them well with dish soap and water then fully rinsed it. Then I used self etch primer then black paint followed by clear coat. The kidney grills have yet to be wet sanded and polished up.
LOL@ the red comment, because in all honesty my friend I would have never imagined purchasing a red car in my life. Funnily enough red M3s are not that much sought after or common here in the UK, most prefer them to be in the M3 specific colours like estoril or avus etc..

@JMW: Well if you do come over be sure to hook up with me mate. I will introduce you to the UK BMW forums and also some meets etc etc.. However not sure why you want to bring your ride over, surely buying one once your here would work out cheaper?

Some pics of my old ride the 318is..

I sure miss the old 318is, clocked up 150K miles on her, and has 204K miles when I sold it. Still purred for a 4 pot.

WOW.... the 318 had an incredible interior. The suede wheel you had is flawless! Did you do all those mods to it?

The suede interior was done by a vehicle re-trimmer - the steering wheel and lower dash was all re-covered in genuine BMW ammeretta ( alcantara ).

Unfortunately as the car had such high miles on it, I had to strip it and sell all the aftermarket parts then put it back to stock and sell the car.

Some sad pictures during the strip down process
