Carpet cleaning
I'm looking to clean the carpet from some minor beverage accidents and just regular daily grind due to dirt and salt deposits. Anyone have a good carpet cleaning solution they would like to suggest.

I use and love 303 carpet cleaner. It doesn't suds up or leave any residue behind. It's also very powerful. The catch is that it is only availble online from US based websites. I wish canadian tire would pick it up and drop thier nasty simoniz junk.

I mix 1 part woolite and 10 parts water in a spray bottle and spray that onto the mat thoroughly. Let it soak in for several minutes then take a scrub brush to it and work up a good foam. Use a shop vac to extract all the water. They will be like new!

I'm not a woolite fan. I tested it on my carpeted mats in a 10:1 dilution. It sudsed up way too much. I had to blast my mats with the hose for at least 3 mins before all the soap was gone.
I vote no to woolite.

Get power out from canadian tire. Ive been using it for 4 years and I swear by it. I spilled caliper paint on my carpet and this stuff got it out.

Which one? The bissell little green machine? Those are fine to use. Just use a good carpet cleaner, otherwise you'll create a mess of suds with regular soap.

I'm a big fan of the 303 cleaner too; you can dilute it heavily and it works great. Bonus is it works well with the LGM with just straight up water, since the 303 is water activated.
Woolite and water is ok for leather, but I am not a huge fan of it for carpets/mats.

Unfortunately I don't. I get it from detailedimage.com; they're in the US but ship USPS. I am not sure if there is a place to get it locally.

Actually, I just checked a few days ago and carcaresmart.com (Canadian site based in BC) now carries the 303 carpet cleaner. No more hassling with customs and brokerage due to ordering in the USA.
