2007 Audi Q7 vs 2007 BMW X5 3.0

Not a fan of Q7 looks. Looks like a stretched A4 all around. Concept looks great though.
Havent seen new X5, but its looks good on pics, gotta see it in person to be 100% sure.

honestly, I drove and thoroughly inspected a 2007 x5 3.0 today, and I have to say..... I'm not impressed.... I still enjoy the last gen x5 a lot more.

If I were buying, I'd look into the Lexus rx350 first.... for myself I'd take the last gen x5 4.8. The new one isn't doing it for me..... yet!

If I was in the market for a Luxury SUV, I would look at the Lexus RX400h first, mostly because of the fuel economy (uses about half the gas of a 6 cylindar X5 city, much better highway too), but I also like the looks, and the interior. The Lexus and 3.0 X5 are basically the same price too (don't know much about the options) . But if that's not an option, then the X5 for sure, because, well, this is a BMW forum, what answer would you expect . I personally like the X5 looks more than the Audi. And as a few people said, the reliability of the Audi is really yet to be known.

I second that on a 05-06 Cayenne, or a 06 FX35. But not many Cayenne's for sale, so the price is still hefty on them. Or the new MDX, or a '02 G500 the ultimate SUV.

If you really narrow it down to that then the X5 is the way you should go

Although I would still get the previous gen 4.4i

You will need that extra torque if you want to tow something

Any Cayenne owners out there, whats the maintainance like. Oil changes/Brakes, is it at par with BMW(dealer) or its higher. The cayenne under the hood looks really clean, the layout is awesome.
