2007 Audi Q7 vs 2007 BMW X5 3.0
What would you choose and why?? I have been to both dealerships and the better deal is the BMW. Does anyone know anything negative about either car? Pros and Cons? Thanks

I like the audi, but i would wait a few more years, let them get all the bugsout of this one, the new X5 just looks freaking amazing though...
also if your going audi, get the porsche, they look almost the same.

I like the look of the Q7 more, I'll only get the X5 if it had the V8

Q7 all the way. Have you considered the Merc GL or a slightly used G Class?

HP isnt an issue. Price, reliability, looks and the best all around deal is what she is interested in.

you might want to double check this but i read somewhere the audi Q7's fuel economy is kinda bad
and its just so heavy (5500lbs ish) i would take X5 but i admit that the Q7 is better looking

Everyone I know who have owned an Audi have ever only owned 1 vehicle from that brand. Reason: crazy reliability issues. Electrical, transmission, HVAC, no start, you name it, it's done it all. The only reason why they purchased these cars was they got an amazing deal on them.
I'll go with BMW on this one.
If your not looking for a serious off road/towing SUV- I would also look at the RX350. Ok, it's not a drivers car- but as such, it's much more comfortable, smoother and quieter than the X5. I found it a much more relaxing drive than the X5- stuck in traffic or on long trips, the RX is the car I'd want to be in. The new 3.5L engine outputs 270hp also, which is really close to the X5's V8.
