E36 Headers
Hey,
I've got some NEW E36 header for sale.
They are from ssautochrome and are the BMW E36Race headers for 89-99. It comes with the downpipe and all the gaskets. There is a bung for the O2.
Here is the link to images. The first one is the headers I have for sale.
http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1432
Reason for not installing: I'm not going to use this as I've head there might be a fitment issue for an M50 e30 car. So I'm going to play it safe and get headers that will fit 100%.
I'm asking $200 CAD. I'm going to eat my own losses.

Some interest but nothing firm.
Price is Best Offer.
Note: I paid $149, plus $55 shipping PLUS taxes. Currency in USD. So, I'm losing some monies on my mistake.

I don't believe those will fit OBD2 (96+) cars without having an air injecton port machined into that.

^^ bump for a good guy
i took some pictures of the headers when i viewed them over the weekend. everything looks good in terms of weld quality and the stainless steel piping looks to be of good quality too. I decided not to purchase these simply because i am looking for full pipe headers and not shortys.

The website says they should fit. But then again, they could be wrong. I'll try to varify this.

I am flexible on the price. I can drop it to 180 OBO. Hopefully someone will pick these up.

Call me a noob, but what are headers exactly? (I know I could research but dont' relaly have time). Are these any different from stock by being "race", or are they just new? What's difference between shortys and full headers?

The difference from stock to these is that there is more flow for you exhaust. It should free up some HP. But sometimes you risk some mid range torque. These are also lighter than stock, at least 50% lighter. I think stocks are in the 42lbs range, while these are around 20 lbs... Don't quote me though.
Shortys, have a short distance btween the primary ports to the collectors.
Long tubes have more distance between the primary ports to the collectors.
*note, I'm probably not using the correct terminology. But hopefully you understand.
