Hate to say it bro, but i think this is the 2nd repost. But still a sick vid none the less. Still love the fact that a E30 M3 was keeping up with the CGT. Guy must have been pissed seeing that an E30 was on its ass. NICE!

Yeah, and just because he isn't on the guy's ass in straights does not mean he's being smoked. It's just what happens when you drive single file. The guy gets out of the corner first, on the power first. But at the next corner, he's the first on the brakes, and we're back to nose to ass. Also .5s at 60kmh in a corner is a lot shorter than .5s at 160kmh on a stretch of straight. He's not just keeping up, he's toying with the guy, he's significantly faster in the corners.

e30 driver hits every apex - CGT driver typically very late

This is not a case of car vs. car but driver vs. driver. The e30 driver is a far more accomplished driver...

Wow - You guys are soo biased towards BMW's it's not funny... The E30 wasn't "toying" with him... Watch the video at the end - the CGT is not even in camera range until the traffic hits... It's alot easier catching up in corners...

You know I'm not biased towards BMW, but this time I disagree. If the CGT remains in view, he's keeping up. If he loses the CGT completely, he did not keep up. The e30 did pretty good.

i think Big D said the carrera GT owner was toying with the m3 driver.

obviously the GT is a quicker caron the track...he didn't seem to be pushing it to it's upmost limits....while the e30 clearly was

It doesn't look like that to me... watch the video towards the end - he loses him from sight a few times...
