yeah, they stopped making it... but when?
here's a 1999 trans am:
looks alot like the one in the pic, from what i can see.
and we can assume this poster is out of date for today's standards, clearly.
considering it is an ad for an E36...

I've worked in a dealership for 4 years now which carried a lot of trade in vehicles, many of them Ford products. I've grown up since the age of 3 in a garage since my dad is a tech, so don't talk to me about getting facts straight. I'm around/talk vehicles pretty much everyday of the week. I've always liked Jaguar but their level of respect has dropped.
1st: I'm not just referring to the LEATHER used in the vehicles, I'm talking about the cheap craftsmenship and cheap quality of items in interior (such as the buttons, which almost all Jags now have the same disgusting and cheap plastic "Ford Explorer type" buttons) and some exterior things as well.
2nd: I know what happened with Jag and Land Rover. And if it wasn't for BMW taking Land Rover, Rolls Royce, and Mini, all of those companies would of drowned. So don't talk to me about companies saving others asses.
Also, the only reason Land Rover is doing well now is because of their designs, not their engines. And it's not because of Ford that the new LR3 and Sport models have been introduced. So get your facts straight.
3rd: I don't knock Ford for the sake of knocking Ford. I knock Ford because they suck. Their cars are all ugly, much like GM...their engineering is shit and their dealerships/service isn't the greatest also.

You know, you spent all this time writing a rebuttal that had some interesting points and then you ruined it by saying 'suck', 'ugly' and 'shit'. These are words kids use in arguing, not intelligent adults, like yourself, having an intelligent conversation. You've ruined your good argument with ignorant statements. Better luck next time.

I'm so sorry that my opinion on Ford is too harsh for you.
