1 - the S type interior is not made by Ford. It was designed and produced by Jag using the connolly leather Jag has always used.
2 - Stop knocking Ford for the sake of knocking Ford. Although, like GM, Ford has lost focus (no pun intended) over the last 10 or 15 years, its a company that has survived a hundred years, many economic cycles and many consumer mood changes. Ford saved Jaguar by pouring billions into it. As a result, Jaguar has better, more reliable product than it did in the 80s and early 90s. Ford successfully took over Land Rover from BMW, replaced BMW's 4.4l engines with Jag's powerplants, and introduced the LR3 and Range Rover Sport. Those two vehicles have won rave reviews and are well respected in their segments.
