congrats, now your offically a Nikonian! 
Julian, get your hands on Capture NX and shoot in RAW. It will give you better results than CS2 RAW PlugIn. Talk about sharp images! if you need a copy, I may have purchased two copies by accident. 
btw, check out Thom Hogans complete Guide to the Nikon D80, soo much more info than Nikons retarded manual. you should be able to source via BitTorrent... if not pm me.

eh Gamite sorry to jump on this thread, but I just bought a Canon XTI, now it came with a kit lense, what do you guys recommend becuase i wanna get a nice zoom lense... ne thoughts...
