150,000kms But you would honestly think it's a lot less by looking at the engine bay, and the underbody. Actually, even the interior looks newer. I'll try and take some pics of it.

^ What he said.. You can really tell a sport when you see it beside a non-sport with 17's on it.. The fender gap is noticable, as is the body roll.. The factory sport is a perfect blend of lux/sport imo..
I have seen Chromius's car in person, and I have to say, it is the cleanest 150K car I've ever seen, period. It literally looks new. It's definately been babied and maintained well.

the sport pkg that justin is talking about is the M-Sport Pkg, that was available on the later cars, you proly have seen some of these driving around, they LOOK very close to what a M5 looks like especially if that person puts M5 rims on it, only differences are the front and rear valences are a bit different then those of the M5, and the fact that there are only dual tips and not quads
Grats on FINNALY finding one man looks great

Love the E39. Slap on some new headlights with angel eyes and some celis tails and you're set.

I found this regarding the 99 540i, and other review sites say the same thing about the 540i. So I'm kinda confused now (not that that's hard )
"540i with six-speed manual amounts to a sports sedan. It comes standard with a sports package that includes a firmer suspension; this package is an expensive option on the other models. The sports suspension comes with firmer springs and shock absorbers, specially tuned anti-roll bars, 17-inch wheels and a 0.8-inch lower ride height."

Ah ok, my mistake then. I didn't know about the earlier model e39's... I don't have the 6-speed.. only steptronic.
I can't wait to finally get new headlights/tails for the e39.. these old ones look so dated.

Meh, these days every damn honda and escort have angel eyes now.. even most e39's have them if they're dressed up.. I'd just get clears. Of course that's just what I'd do.. er.. what I did.
Adam have you see bmwtips.com? really good info on the e39.

Easy on the angel eyes there buddy..I know where you live The difference is I wake up in the morning and it's still a BMW Not a honda. Also most newer BMW's come with them, not honda's. But mind you in a couple of years we will see the honda's come with them stock.
