A receipt from LV Store would prove that the wallet is genuine.

i have an LV wallet, and they are very durable and keep their shape amazingly well.

the worst part about an LV wallet is that everyone thinks its fake

i was actually just kidding, not crapping on the thread.

and the fact is, these are VERY common to fake. so it would honestly help him to show proof of origin.

As have I. My fiancee has a few Gucci and Louis purses, and refuses to even consider anything fake. With her guidance, and my having a real Louis wallet, I've learned to spot fakes.

The average Joe Shmoe doesn't know and care how to tell the difference, so one can get away with it there. However, the fact of the matter is that the people that one is trying to impress with a fake are the ones who know how to spot the difference. Let the poseurs embarrass themselves.
