Dave is right and we have known him on irc for quite a few years and to the best of my knowledge he has never ripped anyone off and i really didnt expect him to pull the kind of shit he has.

I was kind of understanding his side with the death in the family but shit it doesnt take this long for him to cut a cheque and drop it in the mail. I would do whatever it takes to get the cash back at this point.

for what its worth i havent seen him online there either.
