I was checking out this used 328i e46 and it sounded like someone reved it a bit once in a while... he said it was throttle? wtf? is that normal?!?!?!?!
well i kinda correct Edwin here.
When we started the car it was idling at around 900rpms, then rev started to falll and when it almost stalled car reved by itself to like 1200rpm, then went back to 900, 5sec after same thing. it was doing that over and over. Sfter about 5min car stopped doing that
hmm..i say try finding one from a bmw dealer to test out if you want to see what a 328ci is like....then go to private owners n shit and compare

i think it happens sometimes on e46s....is it an auto?
it revs the engine up a bit when the revs get too low so it doesnt stall...
i would avoid it though..seems like abnormal amount of fluctuation
