For all those guys that agree with me . And yes Fast_Gal my girl is VERY understanding at times, thats why we get along... we don't dwell on the little things, I may burp, fart, and scratch at times but I respect her and I treat any woman I date with the same respect she gives me. I treat her like the queen she is and she's crazy about me. It works both ways
PS, heres a pic of a couple of my girlFRIENDS (the twins) who dont mind burping and farting, but cant stand guys that are pushovers.

Ok with all due respect, its nothing about when one matures. Its one thing to be nice tlaselva, and its another thing to simply speak the truth. Obviously, almost everyone in north america uses the internet. I mean you would have to be living under a rock not to be using it. Im talking about people that go on the net to look for others for a relationship. Its not a stereotype its simple fact. These people cannot rely on going out to a bar or club to get hit on they have to do it on the net, because they are unattractive, in my opinion. Guys Im not talking about girls who check their e-mail for 5 min on the net, but I mean the ones that are looking for a relationship. See behind a computer screen you can be whoever you want, but in real life you cant.

I didnt understand a word of what you just said. Also the meaning, doesn't make sense to what we are talking about either. All Im saying is what is going on not why. Either agree with me or disagree. Do you think the girls on the net, that look for relationships, are on average less attractive? Yes or no. Dont say, oh yes but its because of this reason. Im asking a simple question.

MKGino, Im with you on this one. Im sure there are plenty of great looking people online, but there are better ways to build relationships than instant messages and smiley faces.

fast_gal you got some pretty kool friends!!
see, for me...there are plenty of hot girlz on the net...what girl my age doesnt go on? so im happy with it...and yes, some of their parents own BMW's so it does count! considering they go in them....and so have i also, for girlz in general on the net...its true, there are a lot of good looking ones...it depends, what about all the models and pornstars? they have their own websites and update it constantly by themselves...also girlz 19, 20, 21 basically your age area mkgino and others there are SO MANY i know that are on the net...not as much as us, but i can say they go on long enough to get a good convo going...in fact, a lot of the grade 12 and OAC hotties i know prefer going on the net because they dont want to hold a phone, they would rather just type some shit.

Can't say I'm that experienced with people and relationships on the net. I've never considered the Internet as a means to find women. There are much more productive avenues for that. I use the net for information, and to chat with people with similar tastes, ie. BMW's. Most of my friends cannot afford BMW's, and the ones who can, aren't into cars.
I can understand what your saying above, and I can see where your original post came from, but lets not generalize to a point where you offend &/or degrade certain people.
Don't think you'd like if a woman on the board generalized that all guys on the net are men of low self-esteem who lack the self-confidence to meet people face to face.
We can all at times post things that can be misinterpreted. It’s easy to do. Remember, it takes a big man to realize he’s made a mistake. It takes a bigger one to admit it.
Furthermore, anyone who takes that comment which generally can be easily taken as an offence to all women on MaxBimmer and attempts to defend it, lacks maturity, integrity, and more importantly, lacks the proper respect for women. No offence to anyone in particular. Just MHO.

I don't feel that Ive made a mistake. See Im simply speaking the truth. Thats the thing about me, I will say what is on my mind first (in most situations) rather than spare people their feelings. I really doubt any female members of maxbimmer have lost any sleep over my comment. Also people who defend my original comment do so because they agree with me, not because they disrespect women in any way. I have been with my g/f for over 3 years now and treat her like gold. Once again, I didnt make the comment to hurt anyones feelings, I am simply speaking the truth, more often than not less attractive women (in my opinion) are on the net (looking for relationships) than are more attractive women (again in my opinion).

Ah, the truth.
Careful with that word.
If a 180 IQ genius spoke to us, he would consider us to be intellectual morons. Even if it was the truth from his point of view, doesn't give him the right to call us such in public. I would wager you would have a problem with that, as would I. I would even go as far that if he did call you that in public, even indirectly, you'd likely want an apology.
I could go on and on with examples like this, but I’m sure you understand my point.
Discretion. In life, it's one of your best servants, and your worst master.

Your right. Everything is subjective correct? Just as I claimed in all my posts. For a person with an IQ of 180 we are morons, but for others with an IQ of a raisin, we are genius'. For me, a lot of the girls on the net are unattractive, for someone else, they could be beautiful. I just assumed that the original poster has the same tastes for beauty that I have since we are brought up in the same society with the same ideals. Everyone is the product of their society, what is beautiful in one may not be in another. Discretion on the other hand, is what I try to use as little as possible. If my mother made me a meal that I didnt like I would probably say it was good, but what does that accomplish? Me eating sh*tty food all the time. If I would speak my mind, then that could be avioded. One shouldnt hide behind discretion all the time, it results in a lack of productivity.

This was a perfectly good thread until SOMEBODY got philisophical on it! I say chill out, whoever was offended please drink a big cup of "Who gives a sh!t" and have a nice day. This thread has gone in circles, everybody agrees that message boards are for knowledge, and chat on general interests. We all agree that clubs, bars, parties, work, gym, etc. are better places to meet people than random posts on a BMW board with people (claiming ) to be of the opposite sex.
So please smile, take posts with a grain of salt, and if you are offended please dont be because 9 times out of 10 comments are only offensive when taken out of context by people WHO ARE UPTIGHT. Since we seem to like posting quotes "It is a good thing for an uneducated man to read books of quotations." -Winston Churchill
