The owner is working on the looks, but so far he has put his effort into power... he actually means it has potential of about
800bhp!!

Guess it has costed quite a bit yes, but he's done most of the work himself, so that'll save quite a lot of money..

800hp in a e30, that's like, 9sec 1/4 mile? What kinda bmw gearbox can take 800hp!

How have they come up with the 800hp value? Any dyno runs? 0-60 time????

Need more info about the mods in the engine bay

What turbo is he running? What ecu? What engine mods? What gearbox?

He hasn't got 800hp yet, but he thinks it has potential for 800hp...
He hasn't dyno'ed it either.. just done a rough mapping yet...
BUT he has been one time to the strip with it and with only
1,2kg boost pressure, he made a time of 11,03..... keep in mind that it isn't built/set up for dragracing=lots of wheelspin! His highest finish speed was 221km/t.

Engine facts : S38 B38 engine, lowered compression, Mahle pistons, homemade turbo manifold, piping, head gasket, intecooler ++, Turbonetics T72 turbo, Autronic Sm2 engine
management system, bigger injectors ++ The engine cost at the
moment is at about 18000USD including purchase of the engine itself.

Gearbox is original M5, pressure plate from Alpina B7 turbo with zinter clutch. complete E28 535 rear suspension, diff, driveshafts etc...

with 800hp in a 3.8L he must have nearly as much torque! enough dig trought the Tarmac!

even if he dont reach 800hp yet it must be at least 500! damn and it look parfectly Sleeper that's how i like it! lol i just imagine the Little Civic Boy with His little NOS systme thinking his hotter then this bimmer! lol

with the torque that engine will produce I figure it will rip the engine off the mounts or twist the car all to hell..Does it have anything done to the frame?. That is crazy!!

....yeah that's what I was thinking. People break motor and tranny mounts with 200hp. 300hp and the rear diff might go aswell.

Jase.. Don't know if he has done anything to the frame, but i guess it would be smart to strenghten it in some way

Robert79... Don't think the engine and tranny mounts will cause any problems at 300 or even 400 hp. Of course with an engine like this you have to strenghten them, but i think the original ones will cope with quite a lot of power. When it comes to the rear diff, Bmw diffs are pretty strong so compared to other brands they can take a lot of beating...
