It means you have a 2 channel bridgable amp. it will olny run subs or mids/highs not both without dumb external crossovers.

You have a lot of options on what you can run. this amp will power 1,2,3,4,6,or 8 subs.

here are a few suggestions:
900 watts (bridged) to one 4 ohm sub
500 watts to two 4 ohm subs
500 watts to one DVC (twin 2 ohm coils) in stereo
900 watts (bridged) to two 2 ohm subs (rare)

I would suggest you run one 4 ohm sub with the amp bridged. bridging makes the amp more efficiant and it will put out more power.

BTW. very few amps can handle a load of 2 ohms bridged so i don't suggest you try it.. i've cooked my amp doing that!

The lower the ohms the more current required from the amp.. so a 1 ohm sub would reqire almost 4 times the power of a 4 ohm sub.. and poof up goes your amp in smoke

Frequency Response: 20Hz - 20kHz? don't worry about it.. it's pretty much standard. 20hz is the lowest frequency you can hear, 20khz is the highest frequency you can hear. that's just saying that amp will prduce any frequency you can hear

S/N Ratio: 90dB? again don't worry about it... i don't think your building an audiophile system

THD? is total harmonic distortion is usually measured at rated power 20hz to 20khz.. high quality amp run less then .02% THD.. D class amps built to run subs are usually around .05% to .2% THD. the less THD the better because it sounds like ass

good luck

yeah i would say run 4 10's, 2 12's or one 15"

4 mid level 10's about $150 each would sound amazing if you can afford them. 15's usually sound lose and dirty.. 12's are a nice blend of mid bass and low bass (good for Hip hop). 10's hit hard in the mid bass (great for dance) but 4 of them would give you more low bass then one 15"

Not really.. i've looked into it before it's 70% mark-up and it's really not very usefull unless you plan to spend a lot of time sitting in a parking lot watching tv and movies. I would be a nice toy but i wouldn't install any A/V equipment untill you have a nice sounding stereo already.

A/V navigation system with stock speakers and bmw tape deck.. haha now that's ghetto

probably the best bang for your buck would be 2 12' JLW0's ( they take almost nothing to power) at 4 ohms and like a 500 watt amp. I have seen some sweet 6 channel amps( soundstream stuff like that) power the whole car. don't run more than 1 amp unless you want to buy a cap or a bigger alternator.I agree with slowered about the Nav..leave it for now. Big $$ for a toy. You are better off to get a multimedia deck without a screen and get the screen after. You can always mount it in the the dash. get some nice components for the front and some decent rear fill and subs.
good luck
