ix parts car for sale!

ok..talked to my mechanic(who serviced the car since it was new/almost new-he knows every part thats in the thing)...he gave me the following suggested pricing off the top of his head

transfer case $800
rear hub bearing/complete (rear A arm*control arm etc) $100?side
radiator $100
engine$800 (300 xxxkm!) just had valve adjustment and full tuneup b4 the hit
tranny $4-500
brake booster $75 or so
so then there's the rest of the stuff like brakes and shocks...not to mention the front strut assembly was rebuilt...cost me $800

um..stuff that is missing or will be missing:
ix side skirts/arches
muffler from header to muffler
rear diff.
fuel sending unit was stolen
along with the shift knob
and stereo...

I prefer to sell it as a whole...since I have 2 parts cars...and would like to clear the driveway...starting bid at $2500...make an offer

pix soon...

stuff I'm also thinkin' of selling:

3 OEM steering wheels-one comes with the ix if bought as whole unit
full leather sports seats front and back(bite chunk missing from drivers side bolster and it leans to the inside of the car-I do have those Iggae custom fit seat covers...but they were pricey..and wouldn't get the money back...so...)
a boat load of wheels...all season and winters...
if interested in specific parts ask for pix...

Sorry man, theres no way I can look at a wrecked ix for that much. Especially with no tank, diff, skirts, exhaust, front end, 300+k. I'll send you a PM with an offer and you can think about it.

You'll never see $800 for that M20. Sad reality. You're better off selling the oil pan, alternator, PS pump, and head seperately. The block itself is practically worthless.

lol! no takers for 20bucks?! yah I guess

maybe selling it in parts is best...I could keep the shell and maybe build her up from the ground up....into something else..although..it is a 4door..and 2doors are sexier.......

I've got so much crap I could build another frankenstein probably

I dunno...see how things go...there was someone with a red IX intown asking about mine...had his car at the same mechanics for awhile...are you on here??

If all the drivetrain parts are in good shape (oil pan as well) would it be possible/easy to convert a regular E30 into AWD!?

very very difficult. engine mount points, drive tunnel hump, front strut upper mountings, all these things are different. better to just buy an ix to start with. this has been discussed before, have a search and see what others have said.

whoa old thread..

yah I wasn't sure how to price anything lol..uh..so just make some reasonable offers..(but lets not turn this into one of those..I'll start the bid at $14 type threads)

my mechanic(the one I bought the car from originally-and that did most of the major work on it) has showed interest in buying it..so I'll keep everyone posted..

and feel free to laugh at my noob-pricing! man..so harsh
