Getrag 5spd Tranny

Guys,

Looking to get rid of my Getrag 5spd Tranny. This unit is in need of a rebuild.

No reasonable offer turned down!

Tranny was grindin' like the clipse, so I had a ZF installed...

Now I don't have room/need for the parts I pulled off, so looking to get anything I can for them.

No secrets here

Free bump...

BUT a question: When converting a auto E36 to a 5spd, does one loose traction control or anything similar? Or is it a simple swap and works like a charm as if the car came as a manual?

i've been thinking about the same and did some research, people say that you can do the swap no problems (2500-3000) but it's not as good as just selling the car. So I plan to keep running my auto for a bit, which blows.

Its not a problem so long as you have all the parts.... and its a straight bolt on, in the sense that you don't loose anything in the conversion, except that garbage auto tranny you had before the swap!

Yes, you still keep your traction system......

Also, if i get off my lazy ass soon, i can get most (if not all) the other parts needed for a 5spd swap, like pedals and anything else thats required (ASIDES THE TRANNY) so maybe that'll help the sellers item out a bit!!
