Pulled newer M30 motor and tranny for my e30

With my two apprentices, I pulled an M30 and transmission out of an 7er within a few hours yesterday with only 138,000 kM.

with access to all those tools, the motor will have been in out in an hour if i was ur apprentise. /jk

I really need to find a place to continue my apprentership.

Anyways hurry up and drop that in the e30.

just a lil question..........when u remove the engine and tranny together like u did.....is it okay only using the front lifting bracket on the engine??do you do it the same way if u were putting the engine+tranny back in?

I would not doubt your ability, but I can see at that speed I cant afford you as an apprentice

You should persue it Bud, you have an advantage above most. Hurry up, you are getting old

Yes to both, at least for me. There is a lifting point at the back of the motor too, but the hoist chain gets in the way sometimes and the front lifting point is strong engoug to lift the motor and tranny as you can see.

This was a nice car I got the motor from, but a lady driver while drifting made friends with a stubborn post.

Stubborn post = 1
