Door Panel Mishap ;)
So after coming from the club, there was some commotion in the drivers side of my car resulting in my drivers panel coming off alltogether. It was dark n I tried to put it back it, but ended up only breaking a few of the securing clips. leaving the panel hangin'
The question is, where the heck would I go to find new clips or would it be better just replacing the panel? What should I do?
I'm gonna duck tape the corners for now

clips... you need 11 for your door. you can buy these at any dealership for like 40 cents a clip. This is what I had to do when my door panels were falling off, but I drive a coupe. you might need less or more door clips, but its easy enough.

What kind of commotions do you get yourself into? I've heard of door panels getting dinged or windows breaking, but an entire door panel coming off? Wow, the effects of alcohol, liquid courage!

E36 door panels are garbage to begin with, so if you rough them up, they will break. Just go to the dealer and grab some clips. I don't think they are 0.40 each. I think they are more like a couple of bucks each, but not sure...getting them confused with the Benz ones.

Yup i bought my car with the driver's panel "hangin". Just get some clips and look at their shape to see how they go in. I was a noob back then and diddn't do it myself lol.

I believe you might be confusing them. I bought them from BMW mississauga in May. I recall paying $ 4.83 for 10 door clips, after tax. I just went and took a look at the original invoice in my car and I was right.

Manuvers in small space... lol It didn't take much.
Anyways, seems like the panel came off at a good time... it'll save me some time since I'll be installing a full leather interior, panels and all today anyways (Soldo )

i still don't understand how they don't have standardized pricing on parts...makes no sense what so ever.
