I believe I tried adding Valvoline Power Restorer oil additive to my engine and it seemed to bring back some lost compression because the car felt like it was running WAY smoother after, and more responsive. It was the most expensive additive out of the bunch to choose from at canadian tire ($8 a bottle i think), but I felt it was worth it.
I would recommend it for anyone with high mileage engines for sure.

oiu

do you guys pop that in after doing an oil change? How does it work. My car is sometimes burning large quantities of oil at start up and when I floor it on the high. My mechanic is telling me it's the O rings in the Head. What do you guys think?

dfs

my mechanic told me that it won't be expensive. Like $60-$100 for parts and maybe 1-2 hours labour. Since I'm storing my car when it comes out of the shop I'm doing it in the spring

cool, maybe when you and I decide to fix it , we might as well do
it together, and possibly make it cheaper?.

Thanks for your info, lets fix our engine after the winter.
