The CGT is a lot harder to drive then an E30... and considering it's price, I'm sure the owner wasn't about to go balls out and chance it from going off the road.

The CGT was faster everywhere, it just wasn't being driven to it's potential...

Compared to the E30 driver, it's probably been his car for a while, and knows the cars limits much better and can "stay" at tho's limits much longer. Plus he's definatly no n00b to the Ring.

Yes he probably wasn't pushing the GT to it's limits but then again, short of proffesional drivers who really does? Sure they hit the highway and try and top them out, but VERY few CGT owners will ever visit the edge of it's handling abilities. He was still hitting it pretty hard and the e30 kept up nicely!

I understand what your trying to say, and yes while the E30 was very fast, someone more experienced behind the wheel of the CGT would absolutly demolish that E30 regardless.

Yes but we're not talking about proffesional drivers. We're talking about those two. That guy in the CGT certainly didn't just get his license......

I wish we can hand both cars to The Stig. (Some Says He Can Chuck down a 40oz Beer faster than u can drink water.)
if that happens, i dont think the e30 times will be that far of the CGT.

sick video!!!

as for the meaning of the bi-turbo means there is two turbos in line. one probably for the the low rpm boost and one for the higher rpms boost to get a pretty smooth boost curve. twin turbo means 2 turbos both boosting at same rpms range. the reason why they are called twin is because in the v-shaped enginges there has to be 2 turbos (twin for each side of the exhaust manifolds)

I'm sorry, but I highly doubt a 400+ whp e30 is easier to drive than a CGT.
