FS: E36 Daytime running light disable - US module

Brand new, never installed.

All you need is to do it replace the Canadian module with US module under the cluster. Very simple.

New: $32 + tax
Asking: $20 shipped ($15 if you live in Vancouver)

EDIT: you can always sell your DRL module for $$$

thanks for the links. As soon as I took off the metal panel under the steering column, there it was right up there. popped it off, plugged in the us module, DRL's deleted! My angel eyes look ten times better!

So what you guys are saying is this will make your drl's turn off? And you can turn them on when you want?

So if I go to a US dealership I could pick one of these puppies up? Unplug the old one and plug in the US one and no more DRL's...Sweet I'm going to the states...

tape?!

Looking at the points of contact on the bottom of the DRL module (cdn vs. US).

Couldn't you just put some electirical tape (to eleminate it's ability to establish an electrical connection) on the number 1 and 5 post's of the canadian version... effectively making it the same as the US??

FYI: I have a US car and it didn't orginally have a module in place to begin with, all the lights worked fine. Needless to say, to pass the federal inspection (and the Ontario safety check) I had to install the Canadian DRL.
