aux input problem

I reconnected my xbox and tv back to the deck today, and the sound on the deck for aux input is retardedly low, (at full volume, you can barely make out words to a movie, etc)

Sound works fine for cd's, radio, etc.

Buddy of mine said there's a seperate amp for AUX input, and that amp probably blew. That true?

Anything else worth checking?

i would think that the amp for the deck would be the same for the radio/each input.

Do you have something else you can put on the RCA cables to see if it works?

Took it apart, think mine was defective, the wires melted onto each other. I fixed it so it kinda works, but i think i'll just return it, i bought the deck 2 weeks ago. If i can't return it here, anyone here handy with a soldering iron?

Hope it works Ivan. As you opened your deck...Now I'm starting to wonder if my deck is doing that but with the speakers...it's retardedly low in volume.
