lowering springs

Hi all!

i broke one of my rear coil spring ( dunno how! )

anyway i will maybe buy a lowering kit..

witch one is the best ? here is what i found

Eibach 1 3/4 inch drop for 391$ +taxes

or Apex 1.7 inch drop for 367$ + taxes.

any tips or hints?

I say go for the eibach's. The ride is firm but not too bumping. My opinion is that they give a tighter ride without sacrificing ride comfort

Depends on the shocks your using too

i say eibach too! good spring, tighter turns, but not a major sacrifice in ride comfort!

i will check this week.. maybe find some used one.. don't have a lot of money these day.. to much party, and a new home to buy in a couple of week so.. i will need to pay the welcome taxes! argh.

i just found some H&R spring.. these are good or not? they cost a bit more.. like 200$ more than Eaibach or Apex.

somebody have a hints on that ?

Just make sure you get new shocks with a shorter stroke otherwise your shocks will blow after 5-10k...

I have Apex springs and they are very stiff, huge compromise on ride quality.

Hpwever, they do dump the car and u can get a set of springs and shocks for less than $1g before tax brand new.
