I assume you've got chrome bumpers? If so I made a thread in the for sale section saying I have one right now and that I want to just swap it for the brackets. If you do in fact have chrome bumpers let me know and I can send it out to you on greyhound cod shipment. That way I just throw it on the bus and you send me the brackets you're currently using. On and by the way......it's free

What are you going to tow with a 318i? Weak motor, weak brakes.

You don't need a semi to pull a small load. I've got a 320i with about the same power and drums in the rear and I've pulled a trailer with 3 or 4 wheel barrow loads of dirt/rock fill. It's not the best thing, but it'll get the job done if you can't afford a dedicated trailer vehicle or just need to pull something occasionally.

this thread reminds me of this pic.

Chked for the fun of it and no manuf. makes a hitch for an e30. all discontinued. Good luck finding one.

The guy's got a touring e30........that's like an instant extra 150hp and 200 cool points. He could do it, in a parking lot, on flat ground, going straight, in first gear, with 200ft to stop from 5km/h

Dude, look at the wheels. Now look up Alex Schipkov. Now look up the S5x under the hood. That thing could actually pull that trailer and stop it, but it wouldn't be safe at high speeds. Everyone does it in europe anyway.

Haul dirt? I just pay the landscape company $40 and they deliver it. And I don't have to buy a hitch or load it up.

I'm just waiting on a camera, I have not forgotten about you needing a hitch. I should have the cam tonight or tomorrow night with pics same day.
