Tuning help.....

Hey guys just wondering if anyone can help me out with some tuning problems. My buddy is at my house and just finished installing the final bit to his turbo setup on his S13 240 (KA24DE) motor..... now were both rookies at this, and were trying to figure out how to work his GReddy Emanage program..... cars running to lean (or rich, can't remember), and we have to adjust it, but not sure how.....

Anyone know what to do?

first off get a wideband so you know how lean or rich is it running. and secondly the e-manage should have some kind of a manual to help you with tunning, if not strap the car to the dyno and start screwing around with the emanage, you'll figure it out.

but yes, get a wideband in place first.... never tune a turbo car without one.

Okay, sorry for the late response..... my buddy finally got the wide band, thats what he was waiting on to complete the turbo. So we get everything hooked up and he starts to run the eManage program, and we looked at the instructions and they're sooooo vauge its not even funny. Apperently, the instruction manual was totally translated from its original that the english doesn't make much sense in it either!

It would be ideal to have a standalone system, but when your turbo'ing on a budget you can't really do that!

I've never worked with eDamage, so I couldn't tell you how it would work... maybe you could post a screen shot of the software running?

Is it the emanage with the screws on the back? Do you have it set up properly for the motor yet, even befor tuning?

I have alot of experience tuning FI cars and a couple cars I have tuned had emanage.

Its not my car, and i did nothing to help with the install of the system so i'm not fully sure. My buddy is more familiar with the setup. Hes a mechanic, so he did the entire install himself. Now he just needs help with some tunning. How much do you charge for tuning FI's rocco?

PM me with the info if you'd like!
