its just when you lock your doors turn the key all the way and hold it there, it'll roll all your windows up.

window rollup/roll down was not available on all e36's.
there are hidden 'tests' in the gauge cluster, 11+ button OBC, digital climate control, and late model radio's.

Did some E36's come with a window roll UP but NOT a roll down?

I can close all the windows/sunroof on my car, but it doesn't roll down!

Electronic Climate control, there are some hidden eggs.

Winter time, pull the handle up for 10 secs and then wait 30 secs as it warms up the door lock.

yes, when it was first introduced you could only close the windows/sunroof with the key.

the key should be in the unlock position for around 3 seconds to begin rolling down the windows / sunroof.
