Thanks man..Yea I think the E34 is one of the nicest looking saloon's ever made. When my buddy Lee got his 535 (after we..ahem crashed the e28 into a truck...well he backed into us..) I just fell in love with the car...so hot..

2hrs cause it was really dirty! Yes..Lee in Ottawa..I would have come to that BBQ because I was in Ottawa..BUT my car was at bimmersport and I was out of my tree at the Neil young concert..so... next time for sure.
Its a 1992.. about 15,000 km's on the motor and 211,000 on the body.. I just spent about $2k on thurst arms, tie rods, tires and subframe bushings..But Big D spent a great deal on the engine..so shes pretty good to go.
Re: throwing stars..They were stock on e34 M5's.. I dont know if it was an option because there were also the nasty turbine covers and the M paralel in 1995..I THINK I have seen these on an 8 series..but im not sure.. anyone?

These rims are exclusive to the M5. The rims on the 8 look LIKE these but they're a solid design. The real M5 throwing stars are just magnesium wheel covers (same as the turbines, which ended in 1990 I believe). The actual wheel is a very deep dish 5 spoke with black centers. That's why the original turbine cover was so ugly. It was designed to be a true impeller pump for air onto the brakes, so there was a gap around the cover to suck in air. The result was the nasty whitewall look - but functionally they were exceptionally efficient.
