fs: New Turner Motorsports e46 M3 front control arms

I bought these because I had a wierd clunk that I thought was caused by bad ball joints. On the M3, you cannot replace the ball joints, you have to replace the control arms. These are identical to OEM except cheaper than buying from the dealer.

The clunk has mysteriously vanished on its own, so these are for sale. If you have bad ball joints, or just want to freshen your suspension, these would be great for you. Replacement cost is $259.95 US each + shipping + taxes + brokerage + duty etc for well over $700 US.

My price is $550 US or $630 CAD. Email me if interested at wiward@rogers.com

Break down the cost of that one more time with actual figures. Sorry , just cant see how that adds up to well over 700 us? Correct me if i'm wrong, but I dont believe you pay taxes if buying from the states.

259.95x2 - $519.9 US - Control arms
shipping - $55 US
.....................................
574.9 US = 659.76 CAD (@ today's rate, to buy 574.9 US would cost 659.76 CAD, see Royal Bank's calculator)

659.76 x 1.15 = 758.24 CAD - With PST and GST (You must pay both taxes when you import into Ontario)
$53.74 CAD - brokerage (see UPS's site here)
$8.06 CAD - GST on brokerage
.................................................. .................................................. ................................................
Subtotal so far
$758.24 + $53.74 + $8.06 = $820.04 CAD

That doesn't even include the duty amount for importing German made goods. Using RBC's foreign exhange calculator, 820.04 CAD is about 714 US.

Now, if you have an M3 and are interested, let me know, otherwise, please don't try to crap on my thread.

Again, I am asking asking $550 US or $630 CAD. You can see that it cost over $820 CAD for these

The M3 control arms are more expensive than the rest of the E46's. You don't want to know what the local dealer wants for them. Turner motorsports is the cheapest that I have found for OEM M3 control arms

http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html...6&subcat_id=91

The control arm is number 5 in this diagram from Real OEM who want $379 US per arm

Ha, yes it is, I forgot about that! That 1% isn't gonna make a big difference though, $6 on the price + shipping. I can't even buy a Mc Donalds combo for that
