Yoko Advan Neova. Super sticky. But not cheap tire.

Another thing to note, is that tires of like these are more "square", so they might be a bit wider then average high performance tires, so take that into account when going up in size.

The Falkens are faster in the wet AND dry, and have stiffer sidewalls. Overall, a more aggressive tire. The downsides are less hydroplaning resistance (less void area in the tread) and a stiffer ride. Yes, they also wear a bit quicker.

Both the Falken RT-215 and RT-615 are faster, which shocked me. With the huge price difference, I don't think I'd ever get the Neova's.

from personal experience?
Don't forget to take things like ride, wear, rain, comfort into account too. But the Yokos are $$$$.

US sources for RT-615:
http://www.vulcantire.com/
http://www.edgeracing.com/
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/

Canadian, if you may:
http://www.1010tires.com/
http://www.tiretrends.com/

For local, PTM our sponsor does really great Falken prices (I actually bought some ZE-512's from them before they were even a sponsor).

Pej, there was an in-depth comparison in Grassroots Motorsports (the SCCA mag) of the RT-615, RT-215, Neova, Z212, MX, and KD. In both dry and wet they placed in the order I just mentioned them (auto-x times, champion Solo II drivers behind the wheels). Everything besides steering response and dry/wet traction mean very little to me, hence why I said *I* would never pay for Neovas. Not saying they may be the better tire for other people, but for me I know what I'm really interested in.

330ci05, the MXs are dated now, and are much less capable than the other tires mentioned here. They're also downright scary in the wet.
