That doesn't make sense... the actual rally car only had 4 valves/cyl...

Although they might have played around with a 5v/cyl head, it never made it on the actual car for competition as far as I know...

please reference a link to this information.

nope... these are only rumors... no one knows this "magical" 5v/cyl head to be true...

Apparently that head might have been used in some races during the IMSA series with the Audi 90 Quattro's... but again no one knows for sure.

The Taladega race audi was also just a regular 20V.

This is a fairly long thread about it... but some interesting notes.

I don't know... but it'd be interesting to see what the intake ports on the head looked like... I don't see why it would be like that... the newer 20V motors don't have intake mani's like that...

either way... no one really knows for sure where and when they were used, or if they even existed.

BTW, here is another 25v Audi, the last evolution of the S1, sequential turbo, or bi-turbo (which never made it since Groupe B ended):

Ok, my 2cents

1. S1 sounds like crap for a race car.
2. NOTORIOUS VR, sorry, but doesn't sound like anythign special.
3. ///tyron, sounds like crap, especially idle.

screw all your vtec's, turbo sounds, nothing sounds better than a twinscrew blower.

And nothing idles better than american muscle.
