S14 is the worst sounding BMW engine anyway.

I agree VTEC sounds nice, but saying nothing sounds better?

well nothin compared to other 4/6cylinder motors with close to its displacement.

i think the best sounding engine to me is the 25V inline 5 from the s1 quattro hands down!

$2000 engine that sounds better ... the old school Z24 .. had that nice throaty sound.
