Saw an alpina

So I was going to the car and in the back of the parking lot what do I see?! A z8~ Not just any z8 but an alpina z8~ I was like holy shit! Wish I had a camera phone :/. How common are alpina's in the states?

I'm not sure the figures of how many are around but there isn't that many in N/A.
They do look sweet though! I've seen one in blue (only colour made in, perhaps?) and it was deadly. I'm not a huge fan of the Alpina rims, though.
