X3 Review

No one will ever read this thread, but away I post anyways.

Got an X3 2.5 as a loaner and I must say this CUV sucks. Underpowered is the biggest gripe. Then the flat black plastic bumpers exude cheese. Not something I would expect for a $45K+ automobile.

Biggest pluses - handling (obviously... it's a BMW!) and that ginormous sunroof. It's huge.

Actually, is an X3 considered a CUV or SUV?

you're wrong I'm reading your thread

it's well know that it's crappy, it's meant for young asian females that have more money, so they don't have to buy Honda CRV's & Toyota Rav4

I though BMW called their trucks SAV's (Sports Activity Vehicles). I'm assuming CUV is Compact Utility Vehicle?

Had to return the X3 as the service advisor made a mistake - the X3 is not supposed to be a long term loaner. So they put me in an Enterprise car, a KIA Sportage.

This thing is SOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than the X3 2.5. No joke. Lots more power and handles pretty well. Not as solid, but I like it better than the X3.

I know you can't do a straight comparison, but base X3 is $45K and a loaded KIA V6 Luxury is $29.5K. In my books, the propeller logo ain't worth the extra money.
